# Versioning

The Koppeltaal server keeps track of all versions of resources. Thus, all versions of a `Resource` can be [retrieved](/technische-howto/resources-managen/crud-operaties/resource-ophalen.md#specifieke-versie-van-een-resource-ophalen). The Koppeltaal server also enforces that changes to a `Resource` are based on the [latest version](/technische-howto/resources-managen/crud-operaties/resource-updaten.md#concurrency).
